By using geexport ("the Service") you agree to these terms. The Service is a non-commercial tool built as part of an EPFL Bachelor project and is provided for research and educational use.
The Service
geexport connects to your Google Earth Engine and Google Drive accounts to configure and run satellite imagery exports. It is a thin orchestration layer: the actual computation runs on Google Earth Engine, and exported files are written to your own Google Drive.
Your account and responsibilities
- You must have a valid Google account with Earth Engine access enabled.
- You are responsible for the activity carried out under your account and for the Google Cloud project you select.
- Your use of Earth Engine, Google Cloud and Google Drive remains subject to Google's own terms of service and usage limits.
- You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe third-party rights, or place an unreasonable load on the underlying infrastructure.
Availability
The Service is offered on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of uptime, performance, or data preservation. It may be changed or discontinued at any time, particularly once the academic project concludes.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Export results depend on Google Earth Engine data and processing, which we do not control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author and EPFL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law rules.
